Rasheed Wallace Could Return to the NBA

This week the Los Angeles Clippers signed Kenyon Martin to their roster.   Now it looks as though former Tar Heel Rasheed Wallace wants to become a Los Angeles Laker.  The Lakers would be a great opportunity for Wallace, as he would immediately contribute to a bench that is less than sub-par this year. Wallace retired from the NBA after 15 seasons in 2010 but recently expressed interest in returning to the game.  During his tenure in the league, Wallace averaged over 14 points and six rebounds a game.  Several general mangers said they felt like
Wallace's scoring and defensive ability would be better than any other option they would have available, right now.   Wallace is a versatile big man that can shoot from outside or get aggressive in the low post.  There have been rumors circulating in Chicago and Boston that Wallace could join the Bulls or Celtics.  I would look for a championship contender to step up and sign him soon.
